James holds an MA (Hons) in Economics with Accounting from the University of Edinburgh and is a CFA Charterholder and Chartered Accountant.

James joined Intermede in April 2026. He previously worked at Fidelity International as an Equity Research Analyst, covering European SMID and European Industrials (2018-2026). Before that, James was in Transaction Advisory Services at EY (2014-2017) and worked at Skillcapital as an Associate (2013-2014).
